Pilates Classes
About Pilates
The Pilates technique was developed in the early years of the 20th century, the technique consisting of a series of controlled, flowing movements, that will not only improve your shape but will also promote flexibility, remedy any postural problems you may have by realigning your body structure to it's natural balance, and allow internal organs to function more efficiently.

About the Classes
Pilates is suitable for all fitness levels, body types and ages. The level of the classes is for beginners so previous experience isn't necessary.

Pilates involves a great deal of body movement from many different positions. You will be flexing, extending, rotating, side bending and rolling your body from lying, sitting, kneeling, standing and inverted positions. Choosing clothing that allows you to move while remaining comfortable is key.

We will practice without shoes so I recommend that you wear socks and bring a mat or towel.

Laura has a Physical Education degree and a Sports Science degree.
