Peak District visiting Poole's Cavern and Hardwick Hall Saturday 7th April 9.00am to 6.30pm (Salford pick up 8.30am) £18 members / £23 non-members / £13 children (aged 4 to 16) (includes entrance to Cavern and Hall) The first stop of the day is Poole’s Cavern, a fascinating show cave where you can see underground waterfalls, stalactites and stalagmites and other natural limestone formations! The afternoon will be spent at Hardwick Hall, one of Britain’s finest Elizabethan houses. The house dominates the surrounding area and contains outstanding collections of 16th Century furniture, tapestries and needlework! Today there will also be Easter egg trails taking place with a chance to win chocolate!! |

Tatton Park "Alice In Wonderland" SOLD OUT Sunday 8th April 9.30am to 5.00pm (Salford pick up 9.00am) £20 members / £25 non-members / £15 children (aged 4 to 16) (includes entrance to mansion, hall and farm) This bank holiday weekend Tatton plays host to an enchanting ‘Alice in Wonderland’ event with activities taking place across the park. Step through the looking glass in the Mansion and follow the trail through the beautiful state rooms. Follow the White Rabbit to the Mad Hatter’s Tea Party in the Gardens. The clock’s stopped at 6pm and a cast of curious characters riddle and rhyme their way through tea. A very warm welcome can be expected at the Farm where the Queen of Hearts will be weaving some magical stories, where the White Rabbit will appear for Poz the Magician and Mr Bimbamboozle will dazzle with his Alice themed Punch & Judy show! |

North Wales visiting Bodnant Gardens and Penrhyn Castle Saturday 14th April 8.30am to 7.30pm (Salford pick up 8.00am) £20 members / £25 non-members / £15 children (aged 4 to 16) (includes entrance to gardens and castle) The first stop of the day will be Bodnant Gardens, one of the most beautiful gardens in the UK housing a large selection of plants from all over the world and a chance to see the impressive laburnum arch. The second stop of the day will be Penrhyn Castle, an interesting fantasy castle with spectacular grounds and views of Snowdonia. There is also a dolls museum, railway museum and adventure playground for children. |

You will have the entire day here to spend at your leisure … either visiting the many University colleges or some of the city’s interesting museums and Art Galleries! |

Peak District visiting Chatsworth House and it's Food and Drink Fair Saturday 21st April 8.30am to 7.30pm (Salford pick up 8.00am) £18 members / £23 non-members / £13 children (aged 4 to 16) (includes entrance to Chatsworth House) This is a great opportunity to visit the attractive historic Estate of the Duke and Duchess of Devonshire. Chatsworth is an interesting place to explore with it’s charming house and gardens and farmyard and adventure playground for the children. Today there is also a “Food and Drink Fair” taking place where there will be over 30 stalls offering local produce, gourmet delights, seasonal specialities. The day will end in Bakewell where you will have time to look around this small village in the heart of the Peak District and perhaps sample the famously tasty Bakewell tart! |

Stratford-upon-Avon Saturday 21st April 8.00am to 8.30pm (Salford pick up 7.30am) £28 members / £33 non-members / £23 children (aged 5 to 16) (includes entrance to 3 properties) Stratford is most famous for being the birthplace of William Shakespeare. You will have the chance to visit three of the Shakespeare properties while you are there and also to explore the picturesque town. It is also Shakespeare's birthday at this time of year so there will be plenty of street celebrations taking place including traditional dancing, a marathon and a street parade! |

Blackpool Sunday 22nd April 9.00am to 7.00pm (Salford pick up 8.30am) £15 members / £20 non-members / £10 children (aged 4 to 16) Blackpool is perhaps England’s most famous seaside resort. If fun and excitement is your thing then this is the trip for you! There is the Pleasure Beach to enjoy with its roller coaster rides for all you thrill seekers out there! If you prefer something more sedate then why not wander along the beach taking in the sea air and sample some traditional British fish and chips! |

York Saturday 28th April 8.30am to 7.30pm (Salford pick up 8.00am) £17 members / £22 non-members / £12 children (aged 4 to 16) York is an attractive historic city in Yorkshire. You will have the entire day to spend at your leisure exploring the city at your own pace taking in the medieval Shambles, the York Minster and perhaps learning something about the city’s Viking history! An interesting day out for individuals and families alike. There are plenty of attractions for children to enjoy. Of special interest is the Jorvik Viking Centre where you can relive the sights and sounds of York in the Viking Age! |

The day will be spent in Bowness-on-Windermere, a great base for walking, taking a boat ride or simply relaxing and taking in the amazing views of the Lake! |
