Policy
|
Making a booking You must complete a booking form which you can find at the International Society main office. We can also email or fax the form to you. You must also pay the full price for the booking in advance. A deposit may be requested which would be held against any damage, extra cleaning of the premises or any breach of the letting conditions. Smoking William Kay House is of course a no-smoking building. Anyone wishing to smoke may do so in the garden area to the rear. Please ensure that all cigarette stubs are extinguished and placed in the bins provided. |
Alcohol The Society is not licenced and is therefore unable to provide alcoholic drinks. You may however arrange to bring your own alcoholic drinks. You cannot sell alcoholic drinks on the premises but you can provide alcochol as part of a ticket price. Chilling facilities are available. |
Carpets The organiser must ensure that all carpets are vacuumed and cleaned where appropriate using the vacuum cleaner provided. Any marks, stains or damage to the carpets may result in the loss of some or all of your deposit. |
Toilets The toilets must be left in a clean and tidy condition. |
Tables and Chairs The tables and chairs if moved must be returned to their original position. There are several fire exits around the building and these must never be blocked with chairs or tables. |
Children's Area and Toys The children's area must be left clean and tidy with all toys, books etc put away. |
